Each event is free of charge and includes a 20 minute talk over coffee.

Unfortunately, if you wished to attend a lecture currently you would need to travel overseas. However, Marie Agudera of BMF is actively seeking volunteers to help establish our very own Australian chapter.

If you feel that you can lend some time to help the creative community please contact her and help keep the application rolling. Marie is specifically looking for videography/photography to help capture the event but I am sure any help would be greatly appreciated.

Email Marie here.
Zann St PierreMon, 23 Jan 2012 09:23:07 ESTZebrahttp://www.australianinfront.com.au/news/article/zebra

Perth based Zebra have finished some nice branding work recently.
Daniel ElliottFri, 20 Jan 2012 15:09:11 ESTFintan Magee Updateshttp://www.australianinfront.com.au/news/article/fintan-magee-updates

Fintan Magee is kicking some serious arse this year. One of the reasons I love them is that they put on shows you didn't really expect to be happening. One of those is taking place this Thursday evening – 'Hindu Tattoo' is a photgraphic journey over the period of four months by Matt Feder and Sarah Murphy which displays pilgrims tattoos and their creators at work taken alongside the Ganges River and throughout India. Word on the street (well, Facebook) is that you can get a traditional henna tattoo for free while you are there. It kicks off at 6pm. For the first of the year we are doing things a little different with a panel discussion on 'A Students Guide To The Creative Industry'.

Moderated by Damien Aistrope (that's me), join Pip Jamieson, co-founder of The Loop, Christopher Doyle, graphic designer from Interbrand; and Jon Christensen, founder of Tractor Design School as they’ll provide insight and inspiration and answer your questions about how you can get ahead.

There will be a wealth of great knowledge shared even if you aren't a student so this will be a great opportunity to come down and find out some answers in person. For those who can't attend, why not ask some questions to our panel in the comments of this post.

It's taking place on Wednesday the 8th of February at the Apple Store in Sydney from 6.30pm. As always, we love it if you can register your interest on the Facebook page here.

Stay tuned for more details about a portfolio workshop the following week also where you can have your portfolio reviewed by Vince Frost of Frost, Jonathan Kneebone from Glue Society, Toby Pike of Toby&Pete and Christopher Doyle at Interbrand along with a range of workshops following.
Damien AistropeTue, 17 Jan 2012 13:35:52 ESTCharles Denningtonhttp://www.australianinfront.com.au/news/article/charles-dennington

Charles Dennington relaunches his site with a slew of new drawings and sculptures.
