Ken Done Vs Acclaim

posted in Art, Publications, by Damien Aistrope on 17th November 2011

You know what I think is awesome? No? OK, I'll tell you.

What's awesome is seeing the likes of Ken Done (one of Australia's great artists and I mean that sincerely) come back into fashion. It seems that the younger generation of Australian brands have looked past the 80's cultural cringe factor that was synonymous with Done and focused on the mans talent with recent collaborations with Something Else and above with Acclaim Mags December issue cover. Can't wait to pick up a copy and enjoy it with my Ken Done coffee mug.

New Demo

posted in Design, Digital, Print, Publications, by Damien Aistrope on 26th October 2011 New Demo

It's pretty rare that I post the work that Zann and myself do on Infront, but I felt this one was worth a post. Demo Magazine is a beautiful broadsheet street press designed and edited by the Moffitts covering all the exciting art, music, fashion and photography that Australia has to offer.

What came to be in the digital version of the magazine is a keyboard and scroll controlled delight that mimics the experience of unfolding the paper version of the mag, online. Go have a play.
