Oxford Street Design Store

posted in Design, Other, by Daniel Dittmar on 30th January 2012 Oxford Street Design Store

Oxford Street Design Store opens in Sydney at the end of February, and the ladies in charge (Alex De Bonis and Louise Helliwell) are looking for designers, artists and any other creatives to submit work which will then be sold in-store. The catch? Everything in store is sold for less than a $20 price point.

As part of the council's Lower Oxford Street Cultural and Creative use kick-starter, this design store is only popped up for 6 months so follow the links and drop them a line.

Keep your eyes peeled for the store launch too, there will be plenty of workshops and talks happening along the way!

Soapbox version 2.0

posted in Design, Digital, Self Promotion, by Daniel Dittmar on 25th January 2012 Soapbox version 2.0

Soapbox iPad Portfolio app is a project which I launched last year in May, and was born out of the need to display and present to clients on the iPad in a manner that would compliment the work.

Version 2.0 has just been approved on the App Store, and has been about 5 months of development based on feedback from the initial release. I truly hope it's useful for the creative community in the day to day workflow.

To celebrate the release, I'm giving away 10 copies for InFront readers. Just comment on the post to be in the running; first in best dressed.
