'Can We Fly' is a pop-up exhibition from Bennett happening at Blank_Space in Sydney tomorrow from 12. How something at a gallery is a "pop-up exhibition" is a bit beyond me for a Friday morning... but the work looks excellent none the less so you should head down and take a gander.

Infront Presents 'Workshop'
posted in Events, INfront, by Damien Aistrope on 31st January 2012
So last week I mentioned that we have a bunch of Workshops coming up, if you read my little rambles you'd already know that this is an opportunity to have your portfolio reviewed by the likes of Vince Frost of Frost, Jonathan Kneebone from The Glue Society, Chris Doyle of Interbrand and Toby Pike of Toby&Pete. You'd also know there are some excellent tutorials happening on how to get your portfolio together in iMovie, Keynote and various iPad based applications.
Well, if you didn't - it's taking place on February the 15th at the Apple Store Bondi (I stress Bondi here so people know this event is different from our regular events at the Sydney city store) from 5.30pm through to 7.30pm (different times for different sessions).
They are free and the numbers are super limited. What you have to do to come along is as follows:
• Head to http://www.apple.com/au/retail/bondi/
• Go to 'Schedule of Workshops and Events' and select the date of Wednesday the 15th of February.
• Here you will see a number of events under the title of Creative Portfolios. Click 'Reserve', fill in the details and you're away.
As I mentioned, spots are limited so it is first in best dressed.

One week to go until our next 'Infront Presents' event (a name change from 'Insight' - more on that later) which is 'A Students Guide To Working In The Creative Industry'.
I sat down with Pip from The Loop, Jon from Tractor Design School/ Mentally Friendly and Chris from Interbrand yesterday to discuss ideas. Talk about opinionated! Just kidding, although you are in for some strong and well informed views from these guys on what to expect, how to get your foot in the door and more so I suggest you head down to the Apple Store in Sydney on Wednesday the 8th of February from 6.30pm.
For more info and to help us get an idea of numbers, head on over to the Facebook event page and register your interest. Got some young friends just starting out in the industry, point them there also to get some fantastic tips.
