While it’s nice to reflect on good things coming in threes, it’s a bold move backing up the sequel of an independent publication with a whopping 100 pages of quality content, coupled with premium production—and Mark Zeidler has done it, with issue three of No Cure Magazine on sale now.
The cover illustration by Andrew Fairclough, of Kindred Studio, is overprinted in two layers, depicting the pleasure and consequences of The Sex Drugs & Rock 'N' Roll lifestyle/issue.
Each copy comes with a pair of custom wayfarer viewing glasses, allowing the reader to view each layer in isolation: left eye = pleasure; right eye = consequence.
And to top it off the team are holding a launch party at Jamie’s Espresso in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, this Friday night—April 4, at 5pm.
As part of the launch, Royal Doulton Australia will be displaying their new collection of street art plates and mugs on the night—available for purchase. There will also be a small collection of prints up for purchase from some of the No Cure artists that have graced the pages in the past online and printed issues. Please note: cash only for purchases of magazines, prints and collectables.
