It's been a while between drinks for Sydney artist Trent Whitehead. His last solo exhibition was a sell out at the iconic Monster Children Gallery in 2010 and in the years since then, he's been busy building a house and raising a young family. Making new work hasn't stopped though, Trent's colourful paintings and timber sculptures fill the walls of his studio space, we're just damn pleased hes finally preparing to share it with the world. Shaun Freeman recently stopped by Trent's central coast studio to preview some works. If Not Now, When? opens on September 25 at the new M.M.P.G. space in Surry Hills.
