As Senior Designer at Hyro, you will have an inner drive to produce beautiful, functional and ground breaking designs. You will work across a range of project types for varying industries, but all will have one constant objective: to achieve outstanding design solutions.
You will be an integral part of a small, developing creative team in Melbourne, where you will work daily with the Creative Leadership team and UI specialists. As the team grows you will take on the responsibility of mentoring and training other designers, establishing high creative and working standards. You will be talented enough to run with your own design solutions but grounded enough to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty when needed.
Requirements
- A natural leader with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about all aspects of interactive design across multiple platforms, including mobile
- Able to work in a team setting and take direction from senior staff
- Several years of hands-on experience on commercial projects in an agency environment
- Superior knowledge of Photoshop
- Excellent flash skills
- A great eye for detail
- A great understanding of current design trends, technologies and new platforms
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a clear understanding of user-centred design solutions
- Exceptional communication and people management skills
- A working knowledge of HTML
Nice-to-haves
- Motion graphics / 3D
- Be able to brainstorm ideas from written briefs
- Advertising and campaign experience
- A couple of awards are always nice...
