Percept are looking for a Web Design Freelancer to work on-premise in our Cronulla studio to cover an existing team member who'll be away for 3 weeks commencing August 16 2010.

Here are the qualifications/characteristics we’ll be looking for:

Percept is looking for Web Designer/Developer with 2+ years experience to work on new/current projects on a short-term freelance contract basis for 9 full days (3 days a week for 3 weeks). The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing websites for Content Management Systems (eg. Business Catalyst), taking projects from initial designs to final live websites.

Web Design/Developer with:
2+ years design & development experience
Expert HTML & CSS ability
Client side Javascript ability (experience with jQuery and Prototype libraries)
Flash ability (basic-intermediate AS2 scripting)
CMS & E-Commerce development experience (in particular Business Catalyst & Wordpress)
HTML Email design/development/testing experience
Browser compatibility testing/fixing
Problem solving experience (as you will be the only team member with web skills)

Software experience:
Adobe Creative Suite 4 (specifically Photoshop, Dreamweaver & Flash)
Mac OS X

The successful person will also be required for a project briefing meeting where all live web projects will be handed over on approx. August 12.

We have a budget of $2500 for this short freelance position.
