MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leading an interactive team (developers and designers) through all stages of an effective interactive design project (concepting, prototyping, production, QA and deployment)
• Creating and managing tight production schedules
• Working with creative and strategy team in development and execution of Digital Strategy plans
• Setting and meeting project development budgets
• Autonomous client Account Management
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Developing and maintain superior standards of project management
• Ensure that Soap deliverables meet
- Project Scope and Specifications
- Quality standards expected of Soap.
• Applying knowledge to solve project related issues for timely corrective action.
• Display a solid understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & HTML.
• Manage multiple projects and meet their performance metrics both from an internal and client perspective.
• Providing clients with complete and accurate written directions, recommendations and job status.
• Prepare Project Management documents and correspondence that is concise, organized, and easy-to read.
• Estimate and monitor, with Soap Accounting team, client budgets vs Soap estimations
• Providing accurate time and cost estimates for new projects.
• Notify and justify to the clients expected deviations from current budget.
• Communicate ideas and opinions in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide complete, reliable, and prompt information to the client.
• Communicate with clients, explaining all WIP stages of projects with varying levels of technical and creative knowledge.
• Keep up-to-date with the interactive industry.
• Serving as a "resource person" on whom the client can look to for advice.
• Persist with special efforts to reach project goals.
• Strive to achieve objectives beyond what is expected or required.
• Display responsibility, initiative, and conscientiousness in completing assigned projects.
• Exhibit original thinking, ingenuity, and creativity in the development of new or improved methods or approaches.
• Originate and develop ideas for improving client management processes.

COMMUNICATIONS:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
• Scoping of Briefs
• Calculating Project Budgets

• Preparing Project Schedules (Gantt Charts)
• Preparation of Project Documentation
• Task Sheets
• Project Definition Documents
• Functional Specification Documents
• Project Resourcing
• Daily management and weekly WIPs of Projects
• QA testing on executions
• Assist with new business document preparation
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Comprehensive production and account management skills
• 4+ years of experience with an interactive agency
• 2+ years of experience managing Flash and Video based productions preferred
• Solid understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Flash & HTML
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet their performance metrics both from an internal and client perspective
• A solid portfolio of managed interactive productions. Video productions would be a bonus.
• Ability to Meet tight deadlines
• Identify, set and manage delivery of client expectations
