We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Web Designer with a can-do attitude and fantastic digital folio. Join an award-winning team developing creative solutions for websites, online marketing and advertising, mobile and software applications, social media, e-commerce, games and all things digital.
Working closely with a world class team of creatives and developers you will be responsible for the creative direction and execution of concepts for leading brands.
The role involves:
- Collaborate with art directors to define and refine ideas and concepts
- Creation, development and execution of digital solutions (i.e websites, microsites, edm’s, banner ads, mobile applications)
- Sitemapping / Information architecture
- Prepare presentation materials and confidently present and rationalise design concepts to clients at a high standard
- Art Direction and mentoring support for junior creatives
The successful candidate will have:
- 6+ years web design/ IA experience
- An amazing creative folio (strong competency with Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Strong understanding of usability and user experience best practice
- High level of experience with information architecture
- Strong background in digital marketing
- Great conceptual thinking
Highly regarded skills and aptitudes include:
- Understanding of and interest in social media
- Broad technical knowledge and awareness (i.e CMS – driven environments, HTML, Flash)
- Illustration skills
- Video / motion skills
Additional essentials:
- Strong communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- An ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
- A friendly and approachable attitude
