Senior Interactive Designer
Hoodlum is a leading Digital Entertainment company and a global pioneer of multiplatform production and content delivery.
We specialise in creating original and branded narrative content that engages users across multiple platforms. Our clients include major broadcasters and brands in Australia, the UK and the US.
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Interactive Designer to join our award winning creative team for an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Our ideal candidate will possess a distinctive individual style, be highly organized, well spoken, and have at least 7 years experience in interactive design and client liaison in an agency, games studio or production company.
The Senior Interactive Designer will, in consultation with the creative team, be responsible for the overall look and feel of Hoodlum’s multiplatform projects. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in Interactive Design and Digital Entertainment.
To be successful for the role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Strong brainstorming and concept creation skills
• A passion for ground breaking user interface design
• Experience liaising with clients about designs / the role of designs
• Experience liaising with a creative team to visualise projects, develop project goals and problem solve
• Advanced skills in design software including Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
• Experience in a deadline driven environment
• An understanding of the digital space from both a business and a marketing perspective
• A general interest in cutting edge technology and how to use it
• A sense of humour and a love of digital storytelling
As the Senior Interactive Designer you will be responsible for:
• Delivery of distinctive, quality design solutions within schedule and on budget
• Working closely with Management and the Creative Directors to ensure the creative ambitions for Hoodlum are realized
• Establishing a creative environment and culture within the design team
• Dealing with, prioritizing and assessing client-related issues and concerns
• Assisting with budgets/cost estimations
