Just picked up a new external hard-drive and always have a slew of thumb-drives lying around...
Nothing new here, but a naming theme across them all is always fun. In the end I went with Giant Monsters from movies i.e WD passport external - Gamera; MacBook HD - King Kong; iPhone - Kronos etc
What do you guys call yours?
G,H, or J, usually.
Mine are boring: Backup, Videos
My computer name has been the same since I first got a computer of my own at work: Hangover
Going on 7 or 8 different computers now.
Yes, I did have a hangover that day, and seems to be the most constant theme of my life so...
I've got Solid Snake, Liquid Snake and Otacon. So far...
::G,H, or J, usually.
You quirky dude you.
Ha, have actually wondered this befoer and seen some interesting ones setups in some studios. I always give my drives proper people names. So far out of what i can remember I have had Sam, Dave, Albert, Phil, and an old Ipod called Taloola
Mine are all star wars places.
Death Star, Echo Base, Endor etc
I even called my main usb stick Tydirium (cause it's like a shuttle).
Named by size. Multiple drive of same size get a, b etc.
e.g. 1TB, 2TBa, 2TBb
30gb iPod: Squishie
1.5TB HDD: Death Star (nice, aborted prosthetics)
8GB USB: Stickem
Reminds me of the days when I'd often change my HD icon on my old LC630 Mac haha.
