There’s no doubt that myself, Damien and Zann still have a ton of love for t...
Just wanted to jump in here and say thank you to all that have ever taken part in Aus Infront's journey. You are what kept me personally motivated to post news, seek out new talent, put on events, organize competitions and most importantly, promote Australian creativity.
As a young designer looking to get a leg up in the industry, I put my hand up in 2003 to get involved. I was the overly eager kid that posted too much. I apologise for all the shitty puns and spelling mistakes I put folks through, but that's all. Aus Infront helped me get my name out there, build life long friendships and embrace my community spirit.
Thanks for all your work guys. I've been a member since 2003, things have changed a lot - in the industry and online communities - in that time. I remember when I'd visit and contribute every day. I've become lazy and my focus has changed, so I fee somewhat responsible for this - for that I'm sorry, but I guess that's life.
InFront was a valuable resource for me over the years, thanks for the time and effort you guys have put into it. I've appreciated it, appreciation doesn't pay the bills though.
Devastated. Thanks to all three of you for all that you've put into it over the years, I spent most of high school and University here. I made some lifelong friends and built my career off the back of your work.
I just want to thank you guys for all that you're done over the years and wish you all the very best with whatever else you do.
This has been one of my daily haunts almost from the beginning and the forum especially has seen me through some rough times and helped me to keep going in design.
The community on here has been second to none and I've had the opportunity to rub shoulders (albeit from a distance) with some of the most talented people out there and although I'm from the UK, I've always felt accepted.
Thanks to everyone involved over the years, I've loved visiting the site on a regular basis and for those I've met in person or had chats to online – no doubt we'll cross paths at some point.
INfront has been epic for the design community in Australia and whilst it's sad to see it go, it's probably a chance you all involved take some time out and not have to worry about keeping this up to date!
Thanks again, you're all epic and I've definitely had some informative, funny, shocking reads from the forums that I'll miss.
