First job: Paper route. Had to push a trolley full of Sunday papers blowing a whistle so people would come out and buy one. Extremely embarrassing, lots of hills and terrible money too.

Last design/art related purchase: I just bought a Logitech Web-cam Pro for Mac. Hardly design but its coming in handy for work. Good quality too.
Last major purchase: I'm moving back to Sydney in a couple of weeks (in time for Designer Disco so all you people better come and say hello), so shipping costs of all our stuff.
First childhood memory: I find it really hard to separate photo memories from real ones. I'm always amazed when people can say they remember when they were 3,4 or 5 - as I have trouble remembering what I did last week.
First love: A paint brush...yeah I don't know, was weird. I took it everywhere as a child so I'm told.
First thing you do in the morning: Stumble into the kitchen at 6am while my twin 4 year old boys yell at me to "MAKE MY BREAKFAST"

Last bit of good advice you got: Honestly can't remember. I'm sure I've been given plenty of good advice, but I never listen. I believe in making lots of mistakes and learning from that, as opposed to walking on the better side of caution because someone else suggests that it would be better for your life. I'm pretty immature.

Last book you read: Mr McGee and The Sea to my boys this evening.
Last thing you lost: Money and the charger for my ipod nano.
Last movie you watched: The Horse Boy. A documentary about a man who has an autistic son who has an affinity with animals. The man takes his entire family to Mongolia to be healed by traditional shamans. Quite a beautiful touching story about a man determined to improve the quality of his sons life but then realising that being the best person/ parent he can be is a more worthwhile and challenging job.

First childhood memory:Walking through the school grounds of my primary school the year before I started kindergarten. I remember knowing that I was going to love being at school. I was right.
First love: Books. I used to sit in the library for hours surrounded by a pile of books. I read my first 'non-picture' book, Black Beauty in first grade and I was so proud I ran up to the librarian and shoved it in her face to show her that I was reading a 'thick' book. I'm pretty sure she thought I was a freak and told me to piss off.
First thing you do in the morning: Wait for my boys to run in and jump all over me. They have quite a knack for stomping on my knee caps and stomach while I'm lying on my back in bed. It's a daily reminder to be prepared for anything and always put your hand over your crotch when you have two screaming four year olds running straight at you.
Last thing you broke: A sim card and I might have reset my in-laws dvd player to Russian. Don't tell them.
