Steven comes from a traditional fine arts background with a major in photography (1995). Steven has been in the visual design industry since 1998. Between 1998 and 2003 he worked as a freelancer, intentionally crossing various design disciplines to broaden his design and technical knowledge. Steven has worked professionally as; motion designer, photo retoucher, 3D modeller and animator, graphic designer and interactive designer.
Since 2003 Steven has specialised in interactive design. From 2003 worked with a boutique design studio, WideOpen, as Senior Designer. In 2006 he moved to Clear Blue Day as Senior Digital Designer. In February 2008 Steven joined G2 as Lead Digital Art Director. In September 2010 he was asked to join &Some in Auckland for a short stint!
Steven’s clients have included: Nintendo Australia, Pioneer, Sunbeam, Subaru, AMP, ING Investment, Meriton, Fraser Property, Random House Australia, British American Tobacco (Dunhill, Windfield, B&H), Electrolux Home Products (Electrolux, Westinghouse)

Hands on designer with expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite products
Expert at Flash development and animation (AS3 + Flex + experience in PV3D)
Very strong motion design experience with After Effects and Expressions
Excellent comprehension of branding and design in digital media
High level of research and communication skills
Experience in being lead creative in a small creative team
Skills in 3D modelling and animation
