Seventy-one design is a boutique design business owned and run by designer, Jason Cupitt. I specialise in custom publishing with a particular passion for print design.
I have designed custom books and magazines for Focus Publishing, Haymarket Media and AJB Publishing. With these publishers I worked with clients such as ABC Australia, Myer Department Stores, The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Stephenson Mansell, Wendy McCarthy AO, The Queensland Ballet, State Library of Queensland, Grenda Bus Company, Toyota, Europcar and the New South Wales State Government.
I have recently been contracted to design for Elixr Health Clubs, Longueville Media, Piquant Publishing, Iggy Pintado (author), Stella M. Barber (historian) and Stedmans Hospitality.
Prior to my shift to Graphic Design, I worked for nearly 10 years in Visual Merchandising. I worked with brands such as David Jones (homewares, fashion and window display for the Sydney City stores), Palmer Corporation (NSW Wholesale Merchandising Manager for JAG & DKNY), DFS: Duty Free Shoppers (The Rocks, Sydney), and Country Road (Visual Merchandising Manager for the Chatswood Chase store).
