Clinton, I'd like to start off with some praise: your lengthy response with the breakdowns (observations/suggestions) on Desktop was truly a great read and echoed most of my observations.

I have few suggestions below, mind you, they are not fully fleshed out and I'd be more than happy to elaborate further on each. But hopefully each are sufficient enough to give some understanding.

One overarching idea I had whilst reading through the debate is that AGDA should look at how they present themselves to non-members, currently I don't see any of their presences on any other portals apart from their own (at agda.com.au) which easily puts a huge divide between members and non-members.

They also should open up more, eg. TED, they have TEDx which allows anyone to fire up their own TED in their town, at their university. I'd love to see this with AGDA, it would lend a lot to their exposure and it'll help everyone outside the membership circle to also participate, which would probably lead to signing up.

I'll continue to follow this intense discussion, I hope to see AGDA continue to draw from this and improve on their own volition. I am also looking forward to see how the meeting between Moffit & the AGDA NSW goes.

I've recommended Disqus to James via Twitter, he suggested that I'd follow that up on here as well – thought it was a good idea so here it is.

Disqus has facebook connect and twitter login features already implemented into their system and the integration of Disqus into Wordpress is quite easy. Disqus' appearance is also easy to customise via CSS.

Anyone from down under going got plans to find themselves in Barcelona during early June, for OFFF or just an escapade should chime in and let me know. My girlfriend and I will be there for two weeks early in June for OFFF http://www.offf.ws/ and then do some exploring around there after the festival.

We've already booked our flights and right now we are trawling through AirBNB and the likes to book an apartment for our stay there. Still need to buy OFFF ticket, or not – might be able to pick up couple of freebies since the collective I am part of is going to be presenting there in the main room.
