RE: Documentaries on 26th December 2011 @ 10.46 AM in Discussion

A bunch of other documentaries that will stick in my mind forever:

Andrew Jenks Room 335 - http://itsh.bo/ui48WN

Fish: A Japanese Obsession - http://bit.ly/vpUiIO

Man On Wire - http://bit.ly/tWUw1a

::One of the best things I have watched this year is Requiem for Detroit.

Terry, you might also like Lemonade Detroit - http://bit.ly/tkNrs2. As a sponsor I got to view the first edit and it's shaping up to be just as good as Requiem was. The Detroit version is somewhat of a sequel to the first Lemonade the movie which is also pretty inspiring - http://bit.ly/utv1h0

What are the must-see art/design/technology documentaries?

I recently watched this piece on data visualisation. One for the infographic geeks:

I won't be able to make it tomorrow night but just want to say congratulations AIF on a successful year!

RE: Publishing a magazine on 21st November 2011 @ 9.33 PM in Creative

Hi fishmonster. I can't really help you with an answerhere, but am curious as to why you are going the printed route? Some might argue you'd be silly starting a printed magazine in today's market.

What do you think of a digital model?

RE: New Podcast: Insight #06 With Seb Chan on 21st November 2011 @ 9.28 PM in News

I have to admit I really enjoyed this talk by Seb, too. I couldn't make the evening but listened to the podcast today. He made data (the powerhouse website's online catalogue, API and creative commons) and environment (user tracking, interaction by kids/adults) all sound very interesting.
