Indesign Book file Question
Posted 19.10.2017 @ 9.42AM
You can open all the chapters at once in InDesign. just keep double clicking on the icons in the book file palette. Put them in order and jump between them as you would multiple documents being opened at once.

Laptop / Desktop Hot-Desking Workflow

DropBox is great...most of the time. However I've found the sometimes it stops syncing (really not sure why) and then you head to the second site and the new files haven't uploaded.
Apart from that, I've been using it for the last two years and find it great. The restore option has come in handy as well when I've accidentally deleted a file.

creative cloud on a second computer
Posted 26.05.2014 @ 12.09PM
I have two licenses and run it on three computers. Two at work and one at home. Like you I understood that this setup was perfectly acceptable.
In the last few months it has changed and when I get home it tells me that I already have it running on all the machines that I can have. I just re-login and it works fine.
The annoyance is the next day when I load up Indesign in the studio and it tells me I am on the maximum number of machines (definitely shut down all adobe at home). I re-login and I'm fine.
But I have to do that every time, which is a little frustrating.
Don't know how to sort it, but I definitely have two licenses. I checked a couple of times because I was concerned that my subscription had run out.
So it works for me, with a painful regular re-login.
