RE: "Job" ads on AIF that should be banned. on 12th January 2012 @ 12.00 PM in Discussion

I reckon unpaid internships/design experience are a necessary evil. I'd rather it didn; happen, but I also went to COFA, and needing to log 500 hours of experience as part of final year means you have to almost take what you can get. Not many students got paid spots at all.
I did my experience at 2 places, got exploited at one but learned some hard lessons too, the other place was fantastic and invaluable experience.

This type of job ad is fine with me, I wished there were more businesses looking for placements like this when I was a student.

RE: Custom made sign carrying bags - small run only on 23rd September 2011 @ 10.03 AM in Help

The sales reps at work need some carry bags to take examples of our signs to clients/potential clients.
Does anyone know of anyone or a company that can produce a small quantity of carry bags?
Only need 10 of them.
Bag needs to hold panels that are 800mm x 400mm, 3.5mm thick and will be carried up to 10 at a time.
I'd like quality presentation style bags with a comfortable handle and padded shoulder strap.
Any help appreciated.

RE: CMKY Australian Road Sign Yellow on 31st August 2011 @ 9.24 AM in Technical

Road signs in NSW are made using a 3M reflective substrate. it comes in base colour of white, yellow, red, and fluoro yellow, fluro yellow/green and fluro orange.
There is a black opaque film which is used on the yellow signs, and a green film is used on the white reflective substrate for the green and white signs.
So no CMYK values, but like Joel says pick a close match.

Love the market shots Dave. How do you rate the yerba maté experience?
