Late reply, but don't know if you got an answer elsewhere. Yeah, same products. I use a business license at work, and a personal one at home. The business one is a rip off, it's purely about businesses needing centrally managed licenses.

Yes, forget Flash. Mobile out, and Firefox is (by default now?) blocking Flash too... Go HTML5. If you have a Flash background you can even work in Flash, and output to HTML5 via the createjs suite (included with CS6). Otherwise Adobe has a few tools to work with HTML5, and Google has pne coming soon specifically targeting banners...

Again, something similar. Air and iMac at home, Macbook Pro at work, all synched up.
For anything code related in plain text - github updated manually through the terminal.
For binary files I love cubby http://cubby.com/ 4$ a month for 100 gig in the cloud - of which I use bugger all - but this also gives you unlimited peer to peer synching. I leave my iMac and Macbook Pro running all the time, so if I change/create a file on one it automatically updates the other. Files changed on either of them get updated on the Air next time I open it up, and files changed on the air get sent over immediately to the others. Works great.
I only really backup the iMac (since the work files are the same everywhere). Time Machine to a NAS with a Raid array, so it's pretty secure.
That and an archival process for old files unlikely to be needed again - something like arq http://www.haystacksoftware.com/arq/ to Amazon Glacier works great where it's accessible from anywhere if needed.

Really in Sydney, the only stand out is AFTRS. Enmore Tafe used to have be good, but I'm not sure lately. If it was just animation, I'd recommend Animation Mentor. But they don't cover modelling.
If you want to get into the industry, a degree means less than nothing. **All that matters is your reel**. Spend time on your reel, and in online 3d communities. A strong reel, targeting the field your interested in, will hold vastly more influence than any certification...
